Student Choreography Competition

In support of the aims and objectives of the Dance Teachers’ Association of Newfoundland, we would like to offer young choreographers an opportunity to showcase their talent. We are proud to offer a choreographic competition for choreographers grades 7-12. The winner of this competition will win a cash award and an opening spot in our biannual fundraiser, “Dance Collage” in Winter 2027. 
 
Competition Date: Sunday, November 30, 2025 at St. David’s Church.

Deadline to register: November 1, 2025

Dance Collage: Winter 2027

A successful bi-annual fundraising event, ‘Dance Collage’ raises money for our annually awarded scholarships and for other DTAN activities and events. ‘Dance Collage’ takes place at the St. John’s Arts & Culture Centre and showcases choreography from 30 of our members in a wide variety of show stopping performances. The next ‘Dance Collage’ is Winter 2027.
