SCHOLARSHIPS
DTAN offers annually awarded scholarships for students in three categories:
Aspire – for students pursuing dance outside the province. Various amounts will be awarded. ‘Aspire’ is designed to offset the costs associated with training outside the province and this scholarship can be used for a wide range of expenses, including (but not limited to): travel, tuition/course fees, accommodation & board, etc.
Applications for 2026 are due on or before 11:59 PM April 30, 2026. All applications are timestamped upon submission.On Your Feet – for students studying locally (in NL). This scholarship (of which there is one) covers the entire cost of one year of dance lessons. It includes tuition, dance uniform, recital costume, and transportation to and from dance (if required).

All applications are timestamped upon submission.Melissa Maynard Power Scholarship - for NL dance teachers looking to further their teaching credentials and training. This scholarship in the amount of up to $1000.00, may be used for course and/or travel expenses. Applications for 2026 are due on or before 11:59 PM April 30, 2026.
